Thank you for choosing YAMAHA OUTBOARDS USA. We appreciate that you considering purchasing or have purchased the awesome outboards we offer! We want to ensure that you are satisfied and have a positive overall experience after acquiring our products.

We offer free shipping within the entire U.S states and CANADA. We currently only allow for UPS ground shipping which arrives in 5 to 7 business days, in order to provide a consistent experience to our customers.

At Yamaha Outboards USA, we strive to make receiving your outboard engine as fast, safe, and convenient as possible. We offer a variety of shipping options to meet your needs, whether you are located locally in the U.S. or overseas.

Most orders ship within one to two business days if we receive the order before 3pm. It can take up to 4 business days for bikes to ship. If you ordered extra equipment to be installed on your bike it can take an extra day or two to get your bike ready for shipping. You will get a tracking number as soon as your order ships.

Shipping Policy

Ground shipping is provided by UPS. Shipments do not occur on Saturdays, Sundays or on U.S. holidays. Some items may also include a shipping surcharge, which varies based on weight and dimension. Any applicable shipping surcharges are noted on the product pages and during the checkout process. Larger items ship LTL and may require additional customer action to schedule delivery.

• Orders will ship from our warehouse in Kennesaw, GA. We strive to deliver your order as quickly as possible. 
• Estimated delivery times varies from 3-4 days for orders within USA and 5-7 days for international orders.
• We ship to all 50 states in the US and to other countries such as Canada, Mexico, Australia, Europe, etc.
• Yamaha Outboards USA may, at its sole discretion, select the best shipping method for your item. This is typically UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. Delivery for in stock items is typically 3 to 4 business days.
• Once a shipment has been processed, you will receive an email update with a tracking number.
• Safe packaging ensures your engine arrives in perfect condition.
• Guaranteed delivery in 3–4 business days within the U.S.
• Priority handling and expedited transit for faster arrival. 
• We currently do not ship orders to addresses with P.O. Boxes, APO, FPO, and DPO.

Restrictions apply for orders that are considered oversized or overweight or must be shipped by motor carrier freight. Should they be required, you will be notified by a Yamaha Outboards USA customer service representative with additional shipping charges once your order has been processed. Charges quoted will be based on actual shipping costs for weight and dimensions of the order in question.

Every engine we ship is packaged with high-quality protective materials to prevent damage during transit.

• Engines are securely fastened and boxed with shock-absorbing materials.

• Accessories and manuals are included and packaged separately when necessary.

• Fragile components are clearly labeled to ensure careful handling by carriers.

Hazardous Materials 

• Hazardous materials must be shipped ground. Hazardous materials are prohibited in international mail and cannot be sent outside of the contiguous 48 United States. The most common products include aerosols, anti-freeze, paint, paint supplies, batteries, poisons, and solvents.

International Shipping

We proudly ship our engines worldwide through secure and trusted carriers. International shipping ensures customers around the globe can access our high-quality Yamaha outboard engines:

• We ship to most countries worldwide.
• All prices are shown in U.S. dollars.
• Shipping fees are calculated at checkout using live USPS international rates, based on your delivery address.
• Delivery times are typically within 5-7 business days, depending on customs processing and destination country.
• Engines are carefully packaged to withstand long-distance shipping and handling.

• Full tracking and shipping notifications are provided so you always know your engine’s status.

• International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees. These charges are not included in the shipping fees and are the customer’s responsibility. They vary by country and are determined by your local customs authority.

• For large, oversized, and/or overweight orders, additional shipping charges may be required. Our customer service team will reach out after the order is placed and advise if necessary. Any additional charges will reflect actual shipping rates, and are not inflated.
• Please note: Due to shipping regulations, certain products such as aerosols cannot be shipped internationally.

How long is the Yamaha warranty for my new outboard?

The length of your limited warranty depends on model and type of use.

Pleasure Use:  2.5hp – 350hp (F350 models A & B only) – 3-year limited warranty
                        XF425 & F350C – 5-year limited warranty

Commercial & Rental Use: All four-stroke models – 1 year limited warranty.

Yamaha’s limited warranty offers excellent protection against the cost of repairing factory defects. Naturally, however, the limited warranty does not cover normal maintenance and wear-and-tear items, such as spark plugs, fuel and oil filters, shear pins, propellers, hubs, water pumps, and anodes.

Corrosion is an unpleasant fact in the marine environment. While saltwater is particularly harsh, even operation in fresh water environments can cause corrosion. Stray electrical currents in the water around docks can increase the risk of corrosion. For that reason, your Yamaha limited warranty does not cover corrosion. Yamaha provides many levels of corrosion protection. Our Phaze 5 Paint Process provides a superb five-layer barrier against corrosion. Additionally our proprietary YDC-30 alloy melds aluminum, silicon, magnesium, and titanium for exceptional corrosion protection.
